NEW YORK — Twenty-five years after the September 11 terrorist attacks changed America and the world forever, Ground Zero 360 Remembrance will open at the historic New York City Fire Museum in Lower Manhattan.

This landmark six-month exhibition will present an extraordinary international collection of contemporary art honoring the victims, survivors and first responders of 9/11.

Created by Irish artist Nicola McClean and retired NYPD Inspector Paul McCormack, Ground Zero 360 has spent the past 15 years ensuring that the legacy of September 11th continues to educate and inspire future generations. Since its inception, the organization has traveled to more than 60 cities around the world, using art, historical artifacts and personal stories to preserve the memory of those who lost their lives while honoring the courage of survivors, rescue workers and their families.

Marking the 25th anniversary of September 11th, Ground Zero 360 Remembrance brings together an exceptional collection of internationally renowned contemporary artists for one of the most significant commemorative exhibitions of its kind.

The exhibition features works by Sean Scully, Jasper Johns, Jenny Saville, Jeff Koons, James Turrell, Thomas Ruff, Kara Walker, Yoko Ono, Maggi Hambling, James Surls, Sedrick Huckaby, Bono, Brian Maguire, Antonio López García, Luis Gordillo, Eamon Colman and Nicola McClean, together with works by other distinguished contemporary artists from around the world.

These artists represent some of the most influential voices in contemporary art. Their work forms a powerful visual tribute centered on remembrance, resilience, sacrifice, compassion and hope.

In addition to world-class contemporary artworks, visitors will experience authentic 9/11 artifacts, deeply personal stories of heroism and sacrifice, and installations honoring the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the thousands who survived and the first responders whose extraordinary courage became an enduring symbol of America’s strength.
