Santa Rescue

The New York City Fire Museum witnessed a spectacular showcase of FDNY Ladder Co. 1's extraordinary skills during the recent Santa Rescue event.

 

In a heartwarming display of holiday spirit, despite the rain, hundreds of families joined us for this cherished tradition. The Santa Rescue holds a special place in our hearts, and we're grateful for everyone who braved the weather to make it a memorable day.

At the New York City Fire Museum, our mission is to collect, preserve, and present the rich history and cultural heritage of the NY fire service while providing crucial fire prevention and safety education, especially for children.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to FDNY Ladder Truck 1, FDNY Fire Safety, and Ceremonial Units for their collaboration, essential materials, and for being integral to the success of this event. Special mentions to Bazinga Parties NYC for the delightful Balloon Artist Natalie and Michael Collarone from Floratech for the beautiful wreath and mouthwatering pizza pies at our Christmas Cafe.
